Hello!
My name is Laurie Gauguin, and I’m a freelance chef living and working in the Bay Area. “Freelance chef” is the best phrase I can think of to describe the diverse work that I do, as I’m never in the same place or doing the same job any two days in a row. As I state on my home page, I work as a private chef, tasting panel member, recipe developer and writer.
In case you’re curious, here’s a list of some of the jobs that helped shape my career:
*Vegan recipe developer/instructor for a lowfat, high-fiber cooking school
*Private chef for a professional football player
*Teacher of healthful cooking classes for heart-disease and weight-loss patients
*Baker at a French brasserie
*Banquet chef, sous chef and baker for wedding, corporate and boutique caterers
I’ve seen and done a lot during my culinary career, and I’d like to share my thoughts and experiences with you. I’m thankful for the technology that sent you here and allows me to communicate with readers from around the world with a mere click of a button.
